Self love takes time

For International Women’s Day, we have interviewed five amazing women, who we admire, to learn more about what their thoughts are about motherhood, empowerment and how we can strive for equality.

Meet the mamabear @taaybolt! Taylor is a true inspiration for all you mums out there, she raises the discussion about women’s bodies after birth and that self-love after pregnancies doesn’t come easy, it takes time.

What’s the best part of being a mum?
The best part about being a mom is literally everything. I dreamed and dreamed and dreamed of becoming a mother all of my life and after losing my first two babies I never thought that dream could come true. So, I really try not to take anything for granted. But my favorite part of all of this is hearing my children laugh, just knowing they’re happy is enough for me.

How can the world be better at empowering women and strive for equality?
The world could be better at empowering women and creating equality by simply accepting us. In all forms, in all shapes and sizes. Even as women we often hate one another and I think that so cruel. We all handle things differently and it’s not fair to judge how any of us handle our differences.

What does your Birth Poster mean to you?
My birth posters mean SO much to me. They are keepsakes that I will forever cherish because they are a constant reminder of the two best days of my life. On those two dates I brought life into this world, I brought my two best friends, my two babies, my two soulmates earthside and I have your posters to constantly remind me of that!
